They lift up their hands,
Does the Dove lift His wings?
They lift up their voices,
Do their hearts really sing?
Do they worship the King?
O, that You were here with us!
You are here, I know;
You watch them, every moment,
As they put on their show.
Is it real? Lord, You know.
Why do I question, you ask?
Who am I to say
That what they do is not true?
Do they obey
The Truth, the Life, the Way?
Not my word, but Yours, Lord,
Do they ever ignore;
Will they be this way forever,
Never know you more?
Are you knocking at the door?
Lord, I cannot know their stories,
More than I can count,
All I can do is worship You
For fixing me on Your mount,
Drink from the everlasting fount.
